Australian and New Zealand Ombudsman Association is a professional association and the peak body for Ombudsmen in Australia and New Zealand. An Ombudsman is a completely independent person who takes complaints from citizens or consumers about agencies, departments or service providers. The Ombudsman investigates those complaints and reaches a fair and impartial resolution.

CREATE Foundation is the peak body representing the voices of all children and young people in out-of-home care.

Crime and Misconduct Commission (CMC) accepts complaints about official misconduct of public officials in state government departments and agencies, local government, the Queensland Police Service and members of State Parliament (so this could be Department of Child Safety officers).
